RTK, spol. s r. o. in Rokytnice nad Jizerou follows the long-term tradition of textile manufacture in Rokytnice nad Jizerou. The roots of the company stretch back to 1867. Cotton fabrics have always been manufactured here, from smooth to Jacquard, unbleached to dyed. The factory also had its own whitener for a while and so was able to give fabrics their final appearance for sale. During the years, fundamental changes naturally occurred in the field of ownership, work and production conditions, technologies and recently in the requirements of the textile market. A major change occurred after 1992, when the company was privatised. A new phase in the company development has thus started, under its current name RTK, spol. s r.o. Foreign capital entered the plant when the Austrian company Linz Textil, GmbH acquired a minority stake there.
